A dog portrait in watercolors - for the WDE WetCanvas Drawing Event

Yesterday and today I have been painting a dog portrait for the WetCanvas Drawing Event. This is Kashmir. I am showing you some pictures I took from the process. I painted the portrait with Winsor & Newton artist watercolors on Fabriano watercolor paper (300gr).

This is after the first wet-in-wet layer.

 

 

This is after about 2 hours.

 

 

This is Kashmir after another hour.

 

 

And after a few more brush strokes is this the final. I am really happy with the outcome!
